There are concerns that this will accelerate the movement from the revival of the national defense force to rearmament and the resurgence of militarism. For elderly people living in rural areas where walking is impossible, living by bicycle after surrendering their driver's licenses is unavoidable.

日本政府は従来の陸上自衛隊UH-1ヘリ低空飛行訓練やヤクザを遣った爆音バイクでの徘徊に加え､2026年4月からは自転車で外出する自動車運転免許返納済みの高齢者を標的に実体的デュープロセスを逸脱した過度に厳格な罰則の導入を強行して､警察権力を濫用した言論統制に突き進もうとしている｡
これにより一気に国防軍の復活から再軍備､軍国主義復活の流れが加速すると懸念されている｡
徒歩生活が不可能な田舎暮らしの高齢者は自動車運転免許返納後の自転車生活は不可避である｡
