* Tang’s statement, where he "explicitly mentioned the Great East Japan Earthquake and said, ‘When facing natural disasters, let us cooperate together,’" feels somewhat unnatural.

* If he were speaking in the spirit of supporting disaster victims, he should have referenced the January 1995 Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake, which actually struck Osaka.

* Given Tang’s phrasing, it almost sounds as if he is suggesting that the Chinese Communist Party and Osaka City are conspiring to cause another catastrophic earthquake in Eastern Japan, similar to the Great East Japan Earthquake.

* One cannot help but suspect that this is the real reason why Osaka Ishin (Japan Innovation Party) is so obsessed with the "Osaka Metropolis Plan"—to create a backup base for Tokyo—even though it has been rejected twice in referendums.

* Toru Hashimoto—a graduate of Waseda University (which the commenter mockingly calls "Bakada University") who is infatuated with China and Britain and is the son of a Yakuza member—responded by saying, "While Japan and China may occasionally clash, we can overcome anything if there is a connection from the bottom of our hearts." One wonders what the people of Inner Mongolia, Tibet, Uyghur, and Hong Kong, who have experienced the brutal tyranny of the Chinese Communist Party, would think if they heard Hashimoto's optimistic and naive remarks.

* There is no doubt that Osaka Ishin is a puppet of the wicked and treacherous Chinese Communist Party.
