■ I watched a program titled *Shadow Scholars* produced by Britain’s Channel Four.

■ It explored the theme of whether Kenya might be the "hidden brain" of the West, as tens of millions of Western college students secretly outsource the writing of their term papers to Kenyan "shadow scholars."

■ What should we make of this?

■ The reality is that many "trash professors" like the aforementioned John Rawls are entrenched in Western universities. Yet, students must complete the required credits to earn their diplomas, so they have no choice but to write and submit their assignments.
